I wanted to do a tribute CD for my dear friend Bruce "Utah" Phillips. They say this is a "fresh celebration of Utah's work, I hope you will agree.

Utah recorded several albums on Red House and was (in addition to a wonderful friend) a humorist, activist and radical raconteur. Strangers in Another Country: The Songs of Bruce "Utah" Phillips features lesser known Utah songs. I was joined on the CD by special guests Kate & Anna McGarrigle, Peggy Seeger, Jay Ungar and Molly Mason.
